About the Department

The Department of Computer Engineering was established in 2022 approved intake of 30 students. The curriculum follows the syllabus prescribed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DOTE), Chennai.

The department’s strength lies in its dedicated, highly qualified, and experienced faculty members, who specialize in various fields of computer engineering.In addition to regular classroom lectures, students are provided with laboratory exercises to develop practical skills and computing capabilities.

Students are actively encouraged to participate in co-curricular activities to enhance their knowledge and skills in Information Technology. They are motivated to attend seminars, workshops, and technical events organized by other institutions. Additionally, students are encouraged to organize seminars and workshops on current trends in computer engineering, inviting participants from other institutions and experts from centers of excellence. Guest lectures by eminent professors and industrial experts are arranged to further enrich students’ learning experiences.

Students are also encouraged to undertake socially relevant projects, providing them with opportunities to serve society while applying their technical knowledge.

Regular departmental and class committee meetings, conducted by the Principal and Head of the Department, help monitor student performance. Special attention is given to identifying slow learners and providing appropriate remedial support.

கணினி பொறியியல் துறை (Computer Engineering)

கணினி பொறியியல் துறை 2022ஆம் ஆண்டில் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. இதில் 30 மாணவர் சேர்க்கை அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. பாடத்திட்டம் Directorate of Technical Education , (DOTE), சென்னை மூலம் நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்டது.

இத்துறையின் முக்கிய பலமாக அர்ப்பணிப்புடன் செயல்படும், உயர்தரத் தகுதியும் அனுபவமும் கொண்ட ஆசிரியர்கள் குழு விளங்குகிறது. அவர்கள் கணினி பொறியியலின் பல்வேறு துறைகளில் நிபுணத்துவம் பெற்றவர்கள்.வகுப்பறை கற்பித்தலுடன் கூடுதலாக, மாணவர்கள் நடைமுறை திறன்களையும் கணினி பயன்பாட்டு திறன்களையும் வளர்த்துக் கொள்ள ஆய்வகப் பயிற்சிகள் வழங்கப்படுகின்றன.

மாணவர்கள் தகவல் தொழில்நுட்பத்தில் (Information Technology) தங்களின் அறிவையும் திறன்களையும் மேம்படுத்த பல இணைச் செயல்பாடுகளில் ஈடுபட ஊக்குவிக்கப்படுகின்றனர். அவர்கள் பிற கல்வி நிறுவனங்களில் நடைபெறும் Seminars, Workshops, தொழில்நுட்ப நிகழ்ச்சிகளில் பங்கேற்க தூண்டப்படுகின்றனர். மேலும், தற்போதைய தொழில்நுட்ப வளர்ச்சிகளை மையமாகக் கொண்டு மாணவர்கள் தாங்களே Seminars மற்றும் Workshops நடத்தி, பிற நிறுவனங்களிலிருந்து பங்கேற்பாளர்களையும் நிபுணர்களையும் அழைத்து அறிவுப் பரிமாற்றம் மேற்கொள்கிறார்கள்.

மேலும், சிறந்த பேராசிரியர்கள் மற்றும் தொழில்துறை நிபுணர்களின் Guest Lectures ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்படுகின்றன. இது மாணவர்களின் கற்றல் அனுபவத்தை மேலும் செழுமையாக்குகிறது.

மாணவர்கள் சமூகப் பயனுள்ள திட்டங்களை மேற்கொள்ளவும் ஊக்குவிக்கப்படுகின்றனர். இதன் மூலம் அவர்கள் தங்களின் தொழில்நுட்ப அறிவை பயன்படுத்தி சமூகத்துக்கு சேவை செய்யும் வாய்ப்பைப் பெறுகின்றனர்.

முதல்வர் மற்றும் துறைத் தலைவர் தலைமையில் நடைபெறும் துறை மற்றும் வகுப்பு குழுக் கூட்டங்கள் மூலம் மாணவர்களின் செயல்திறன் தொடர்ந்து கண்காணிக்கப்படுகிறது. மெதுவாக கற்றுக்கொள்ளும் மாணவர்களை அடையாளம் கண்டு, அவர்களுக்கு தேவையான கூடுதல் ஆதரவு மற்றும் பயிற்சிகள் வழங்கப்படுகின்றன.
